The package came late but sooo worth the wait! It was very easy to assemble, it’s sturdy and most of all beautiful! Worth ever penny. I’m literally obsessed! The table is a beautiful color and the hairpin legs match our other tables. Although there are some imperfections in the finish on the wood, the table is beautiful and a steal for the money. We put two coats of marine varnish on the top before we used it and are very pleased with how it is holding up. As with any wood table, it is necessary to show some care in how it is used. We are extremely pleased with this purchase.I really like this table. I wanted something round to fit my oval shaped dining room and on the smaller side since there’s just 2 of us. This table looks great, is sturdy, and was very easy to assemble. I put it together by myself in about 20 minutes. Word of caution - the top is heavy (which I like for durability) so it’s a little awkward setting up without a 2nd set of hands. I set it on a large cardboard box so it was easier to reach. That also made it easier to turn over after I attached the legs. The table is sturdy and easy to put together but the shipping was delayed for weeks and we had no updates. Not only was it late but the box was extremely damaged and the table itself has scuffs all around the edge. It’s fine for my use because it’s very temporary but this feels cheap and was shipped poorly.Pros: I really love this table! It’s sturdy, massive (can easily seat 4 to 6 if you put chairs at the ends), and is the perfect family table. The hairpin legs make bumping knees against the furniture painless, and it really opens up my kitchen space!Cons: Whatever finish is on this table gets damaged fairly easily. I’m not sure what sort of varnish, sealant, etc is used on it, but I’d REALLY like to know so I can reseal the wood before it becomes damaged further. Please help!! I’ve posted photos of the damage. Please let me know what sealant or wood finish I need to repair this! I’ve only had the table for a month or two now, so this is very disappointing. I’m very gentle with it.Advice: If you’re getting this table, make sure you buy placemats and coasters. It could easily form heat rings and gather scratches. Protect your wood! This was boxed for a few months before I was able to put in my new home. The fake wood was peeling on the edge before I sat down and used it. I’m going to try to glue. I also have a set of 4 Ratan chairs that won’t fit under the table due to the tables legs. Over all I’m bummed on this purchase. You get what you pay for right? The table sits just a little too high at 30 inches. Doesn't seem like it would be a deal breaker till you live with it. That extra 1/2 to 1 inch throws the comfort of sitting and dining at the table off balance. The table top is hollow. On the pro side it is lighter. The con side is that it makes an odd sound to me. The first table was damaged in shipping and the company was great about replacing the table top. The first top, the picture image of the laminate was very noticeable divided light and dark. The replacement top was a much better balanced image. However there is a textured faux wood grain imprint that didn't make it to the outer 2 inch rim of the table table. Which makes me crazy every time I sit down at the table. The walnut color is lovely. The seller was responsive with the shipping issue.Like many others here, my table came with damage to the side from shipping as well. Not sure who to contact about that, or if they could help rectify that. The table top is heavy, but tapping on it in different spots, I hear hollow sounds, or maybe places where the top laminate is not completely adhered to the bottom. I was hoping to have this table for at last four years, but I doubt it will hold up to even light use for half that time.
