Good valuePerfect for what I needed them for.. I would recommend .?My guest bathroom was pretty much stuck in a bygone era, as far as the style was concerned. I wasn't looking to invest thousands of dollars in redoing my bathroom, so I undertook the project myself, hoping to revitalize it with some fresh paint, nice accessories, and well appointed details. An important part of those details, included these lovely brass hinges. I know that a lot of modern vanities and medicine cabinets, will have hinges hidden on the inside of the doors, but like I mentioned my guest bathroom was from a bygone era. That meant that I had hinges on the outside, and in my case they were that dark oiled brass type look. Needless to say, time had not necessarily been kind to them, and they looked not only old and dirty, but worse for wear. My vanity was originally a light color, but I decided to painted a dark Navy blue, and accent my bathroom with gold and black accessories. I went with that color pattern because the faucet that I had chosen, was a black gooseneck faucet with gold accents. I thought that the gold contrasting against the dark background of the Navy blue vanity, would look very nice, and in my opinion it did. The hinges were exactly the same size as my old ones so it was nothing more than replacing the old with the new. Installation was a breeze, and quite frankly even if I hadn't replaced them with the exact same size hinge, installing these from scratch would be very simple. They are quality hinges, and plenty strong for the purposes of holding up the doors that I use them for. If you look at the pictures that I have posted, one of them is of my medicine cabinet where previously it had been held by only two hinges, and I added a third because the door is very heavy with that mirror on it. With that in mind, the hinges are nice and strong, to hold up even that very heavy door. I haven't felt any trepidation about their capacity to hold up that amount of weight. All in all, I was very pleased with the final outcome, and like very much the finish of the nice bright yellow brass on these particular hinges. So if you're like me, and looking for a refresher over similar old hinges, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I know I wasn't.Ordered these to replace overlay cabinet door hinges and they fit perfectly, my husband did have to redrill the holes in the cabinets to match these ones, we only had to use the two sides, I think its overkill to do all three but if you would like or want to fill the hole it should work fine. The screws are really small though, we used our old screws which were about half a size larger. That is my only complaint that the screws are not very good. There isn't much to note about these hinges except the fact that they work. It comes with everything you need to start switching old ones out. The gold color looks great against my black cabinets and so far they're holding up well.Overview:As described.Experience:Good enough to go in my own home, actually it is going in my new home.... I do a bit of remodeling work and always try to balance cost quality and aesthetics, some times an item hits them all. This is one. Heavy enough to last, a finish that is perfect fully functional and yes reasonably priced.I got these for our new home to update it and change out the hinges in our kitchen. The screw that it came with are smaller than the previous ones so we werent able to use them. They are easy to install and use
