I've been using this blender fairly consistently for 3 months now and while I really like it, it's not without it's faults.A few notes:- Does not keep a charge. Nowhere close to 20+ uses like is advertised, it's more like 2-3 uses before charging. And it hardly ever works to blend while charging.- That being said, when it is charged it blends well. When making milkshakes or blending in powder it's a breeze. When I make smoothies with frozen berries I do usually have to blend twice to get it really smooth, but that's probably because I hardly follow the suggested solid to liquid ratio.- It's difficult to really clean the bottom of the bottle. I wish I could unscrew the bottom to better wash the blades, because stuffing a sponge into the bottle and trying to scrub the bottom isn't easy.Would I recommend someone to get this blender bottle? Yes, I would.I love being able to make smoothies, milkshakes, etc. without dirtying other dishes and like the smaller mouth opening that similar blender bottles are lacking.Had it for 3 months, then stopped working and taking a charge. Contacted the support on their website and they replaced it for free !Good for solid foods however make sure their sliced into smaller sizes. This blender is not a powerhouse not like a counter top one, like the instructions will note you on this. I use chopped bananas , strawberries and protein powder. It blends like a charm. Start it upside down then work your way thorugh. It seems like shaking it while blending it gives it more of a round and easy blend like a blender bottle will do. Will buy again !Outstanding product quality with cute colors & tiny ice cubes tray. How fun and super easy to use!So many others have the drink cup attached to the motor, this is perfect no hassle size & weight. Not just for smoothies, many of us use powdered supplements or protein, it’s a game changer from an annoying shaker!Purchasing more for Christmas gifts:)I love this little blender! It's perfect for making myself a quick smoothie and clean up is easy. This is so much easier to use, store, and is more quite than the large household blenders! You do have to make sure the fruit are small pieces so it'll blend well. I'm very happy with this!I have a freaking Vitamix that I can’t use cause it trips the box in my crappy apt. ?Lotta informative reviews here.I just mainly wish I didn’t need the funnel/spout to add a scoop of meal shake powder cause that stuff adheres to whatever it touches, so this naturally creates waste as there is good bit of powder that just has to be rinsed away.I also don’t have enough space in my freezer for ice cubes, so I love being able to use this teeny tray for either a smoothie or in a semi-cold glass of tea!If I put powder in first, I get some clumping below the blades…. Mostly comes out if you add a bit of water and blend (I then also drink that)If I put liquid in first, then powder, I get a little powder clumped on sides of jar. So have to scrape that and also add water/blend. So I prob would choose liquid first, but it’s almost a six/half-dozen issue, though either way is pretty simple if you don’t get something major stuck under blades. You could also blend water and dish soap to clean without bottle brush.I also agree to have enough liquid/proper liquid-to-solid ratio so as to not inhibit blades and other contents from spinning/blending freely. Hence, why you start it upside down and move it around.Once lid is on tight, no drips or leakage. And it’s not very loud at all. Just what you’d expect. If I use unsweetened almond milk + powder, I get a creamy, milkshake- consistency drink, no grit. I can’t get that with a spoon or shaking a bottle.I do feel like the charger-hole-cover might fall off before too long. This is an issue with any rechargeable, water-resistant kind of gadget…… like my earbuds. But overall, for what this is, and for how portable it is (like if you have many food allergies and can’t guarantee finding something tolerable while traveling, but can tolerate a few powders), or if you just plain have no space - this thing is awesome!I might even try putting cooked veggies in with some coconut milk for times when my digestive system might prefer already-broken-down substances, and I don’t have an outlet for my pressure cooker and my immersion blender. (Which is a combo you just cannot beat with a stick)But whenever you don’t have an outlet handy or a big job, this is perfect!Love the portable size. Holds a charge for weeks! I throw in a few pieces of frozen fruit in the morning and store it in the refrigerator when I get to work. At lunchtime it’s still frozen and I add a little plant-based milk and blend for a smoothie. Easy and delicious!I use mine for my protein shake every morning. It blends perfectly! I haven’t tried anything else in the blender as my shakes were the soul purpose for buying it. I initially bought it for our beach trip so that I would have a cup/blender all in one but loved it so much it has become my go to every morning! So easy to use and to clean. Definitely recommend!!The blender stopped working after a month of purchase. When contacted customer services, they sent me a replacement right away. Excellent customer service, fast delivery, and prompt response to my messages. The product I received was not as advertised. The colour advertised was pink but I received blue/green (image changed on Amazon after my purchase). I was offered a small discount when I raised the issue with the seller. However, I also raised that no icetray was received - it was the single reason I had purchased this product instead of a similar one. The seller was not helpful in this regard. I had to ask the seller to amend the product photo and description. I can see, weeks later, that the product colour is changed but not the contents of the box. The photo still advertises an icetray but none will be included. Beware when you purchase. It doesn't blend very well. Bits of fruits left in it but if you don't mind then that's okay.Blender works for about a week... not worth a buy. When told the seller this they said ‘whatever’. Very disappointed in the customer service and the product. Definitely not worth the price as you can get better personal blenders for cheaper and last much longer!!!pop babies blenderOne of many types of battery portable blenders available. This Pop Babies blender comes with a small silicone ice cube tray and a funnel to help load the goblet. Colours available are light blue and pink ... His and hers? IT comes in 3 parts the motor drive and battery base and the detachable goblet with integrated blades. The 3rd part is the top that screws onto the goblet. The box also includes a basic recipe booklet and instructions. What question might you ask before you buy it?1- What makes this different from the others?Without trying all of them, I can't be certain, but having done the browsing, I purchased this one mainly because it looked like it should have a long-lasting battery. Plus most of the reviews are favourable. I was a little disappointed, as you will read below2- Can I use it straight away on receiving it?The instructions advise you to charge 3-4 hours until the internal battery is at full capacity. However ... you can also run this while charging and it does come with some power in it. I found that even with a fast USB charger, it could not be run while on charge. It starts, but then dies with mushy blender items in it!3- Is it really easy to clean? In my experience, yes. However, some things you should know. You can't get to the blades as they are integrated at the bottom of the goblet, the favourite area for things to get lodged, nor does it come with a long brush that you can reach down to clean them with. The instructions state to fill with water, turn on and agitate the blender. This does the job, mainly, but fibrous materials like celery strands pineapple and mango fibres can get wrapped around that blade rotation area and could prove a real problem to remove. It's really best to adhere to the instructions and make sure your fruit and vegetable material is cut small, as this will reduce fibre wrapping around the spindle because they should be short after cutting. Yes, you can dishwasher the goblet part.4- How noisy is it?Compared with our Bullet mixer, Robochef and Vitamix it's very quiet, but of course, you can hear the motor spin and the turbulence of the mixing process.5- Is it leakproof?Definitely, YES. The top lid has a very substantial seal on it and there has been no sign of leaks so far.6- Can I carry the goblet in a bag eg to work, picnics walks etc.?Yes, you can, plus you can drink directly out of the goblet, as they have made the top rim smooth and safe to put to your mouth.7- Is it easy to charge?Very versatile in this area. Because it only requires 5Volts, it has a USB-C charging point and a short lead that is supplied. This means you can charge it from any 5VDC source from a power bank battery to a computer USB outlet. It takes quite a bit of charge, so it will soon run a backup battery/ power bank down, likewise, your laptop battery, if not on charge.8- How robust is the blender? The goblet and top feel very thick plastic and cannot be flexed and won't bend when squeezed. The base again feels solid and comes with a good vibration rubber seal on the bottom.9- how long does the battery last? This is the big letdown on this blender. The more fibrous items you use in the mix, the more times you will need to do a blend session. each session lasts about 20 seconds, after which it automatically turns off. For example, If I blend some small pieces of kale, a banana, seven grapes and goats milk, I will have to do at least two or three blend sessions to get this anywhere near smooth. Add an extra blend for cleaning and do this three times a day, that's twelve sessions. After two days, my fully charged battery was exhausted. Not good and nowhere near the claimed battery life.10- Is it worth the money? So far it's performing well, but the battery life is very short Can I get spares? Will the motor keep going? these are all questions that hang on a gamble. The price is about a tenner more than some others I looked at and I was hoping for a better blender, more power and better battery life.11-What about servicing and other questions?Although made in China, The box it comes in states a UK London Authorised dealer, with address and email. This would be my first point of contact.12- How effective is it at blending?Reasonable, but not as smooth as mains units. Plus it depends on the items blended. When adding protein powder to milk, the powder tends to clump sometimes and needs dislodging. Also things like grapes, kale and fibrous things don't completely break down.13 - How long does it take to blend things?Again it depends... Milk or water with a chopped banana will blend in one 20 second session. Mixed fruit/ vegetables etc take more time. I found I had to repeat the 20-second blend session 2 or 3 times. Many items never get completely blended and small particles of skins get left in the mix. It's not as efficient as a full power mains blender, especially on cellulose plant materials. Some tips and observations.* If you are blending anything with protein powders, don't plonk the powder on the top of all your other items in the goblet, it just shoots to the top and sticks in a glob. (it does this even in a manual shaker sometimes) Put the liquid in FIRST then and cover it with other items.* Don't shake the blender vigorously as this seems to trigger it to stop working.* Don't use any hot liquids or other contents, it will cause a pressure build-up and destroy the blade seals.ConclusionBeing battery-driven like all similar blenders, it is low powered. This reduces its ability to blend fibrous cellulose materials like hard fruit and veg, whatever the claims, you won't get a completely smooth mix with these items. The best mixes I've had is with soft fruit like banana, strawberry, milk and protein powders when they don't clump. Whether the portability of this blender outweighs the low power, inadequate battery life and blending limitations is your choice.I received this morning and have fully charged (around 4 hours) and have just used. Wow am I impressed. As a frequent traveller I often struggle for breakfast as I usually have a smoothie so this is perfect. It's not massively heavy so won't take up weight in the hold luggage. I am super happy with this purchase!!Awesome little blender. I bought it as I needed to have something with me during summer holidays as my baby was still at the early weaning stage and needed to blend her food. I ended up using it at home as well and much more preferred it over the big tabletop blender we have as it is so much handier. Although I'm usually batch cooking for the baby, the small baby portions require also a smaller size blender that is easy to use and clean. It works perfectly well, has enough power to blend anything if you first cut it in small pieces..and the battery seems to last forever!
