My Dad's placemats he has been using on his kitchen table for years were pretty ratty looking. So I got him these as replacements. I was surprised when he immediately took them and put them on his table and threw the old ones away. He turned them Gold side up, but he usually likes Blue so that surprised me too. Fortunately, whenever he gets tired of the color he just needs to flip them over for a while. Nice thick and heavy product!Pictures dont make them justice!I love these placemats so much! They are so beautiful. The finish is great. They look so well made. They definitely make my table look better.- They are pretty black but the light bounces so they look lighter than they are.- They are super easy to clean. I just spray some cleaning solution and wipe them and they look good as new.They are also great for working on them. I do crafts and they are great for working with really small items like rhinestones.I definitely recommend them!These polyurethane leather-like placemats are soft and supple. They have a decent thickness so they lay totally flat on the table. They are reversible and wipe clean with the swipe of a damp cloth.These leather placemats arrived with a fold down the middle so that was VERY disappointing! If I can't get the fold out then they are useless to me! However, they are waterproof, sturdy and durable. They also are quite stylish. I like this product but I am not pleased with them because of the fold.
